ERC consolidator grant
for Eleni Tomazou

Eleni has won a Consolidator Grant of the European Research Council (ERC)! The funded project is based on a “build it to understand it” approach to model Ewing sarcoma in vitro and in vivo based on human pluripotent stem cells. Read the press release here. Congrats Eleni!

Our new paper is out!

We're excited to announce that our tool LIQUORICE has been published in Bioinformatics Advances: "LIQUORICE: detection of epigenetic signatures in liquid biopsies based on whole-genome sequencing data". LIQUORICE is available as command-line tool and python package - read more here.

Release: New version of LIQUORICE

We have released an upgraded, more user-friendly version of our tool LIQUORICE, which can be used to detect tissue- or cancer-specific epigenetic signatures in whole genome sequencing data of liquid biopsies. Read more here.

Stefan presented his work about the role of biomolecular condensation in NUP98-fusion-driven leukemias at the 2021 virtual meeting of the European Hematology Association.

New grant: WWTF life sciences call 2020

Our proposal for clinical validation of our recently developed minimally invasive diagnostic toolkit for pediatric sarcomas (publication) has been selected for funding, with a total amount of almost 900.000 €.
